Under Armour, Investors Head Toward Trial on Accounting Issues

Under Armour Inc. has lost a bid to defeat a securities class action before trial on grounds that the investors suing it lacked proof of misleading statements about consumer demand and other metrics.

That issue will go to a jury, as will the issue of fraudulent intent, Judge Richard D. Bennett said in an order entered Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Maryland’s docket.
