Under Armour Fails to Nix Price Discount Scheme Proposed Class

Under Armour Inc. must defend a proposed class action from an Oregon customer who says the athletic apparel retailer misled him and others by advertising false price discounts for merchandise sold in its outlet stores and online.

Jonathan Lo didn’t say he bought any items online but he still has standing to sue on behalf of those who bought from the website because the products he bought in-store and the alleged misrepresentations on those were substantially similar to the ones found in the website, the US District Court for the District of Oregon said.
