Ulta Facing New Class Suit Over Employee Pay, Missed Breaks

Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance Inc. was hit with a new federal lawsuit alleging it shortchanged more than 1,000 employees on overtime and sick pay and forced them to work through breaks.

Dorcas-Cothy Kabasele, who worked at an Ulta location in Contra Costa County, Calif., collectively sued the cosmetics mega-retailer for various wage and breaks violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and California law.
