Ultimate Fighting Championship again won a dismissal over a mixed martial arts fighter’s claims that he was injured during a fight because UFC concealed information about his opponent’s use of performance-enhancing drugs, the Ninth Circuit said Tuesday in an unpublished opinion.
Mark Hunt failed to allege “any physical, emotional, economic, or reputational damage or harm attributable” to UFC’s conduct, the unsigned opinion by the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit said, affirming the lower court’s grant of summary judgment to the defendants.
