A former softball coach settled with the University of California Board of Regents in her lawsuit that said UC Santa Barbara terminated her in retaliation for complaining about disproportionate funding between men’s and women’s sports.
Alysia Hendricks filed her complaint in the US District Court for the Central District of California in December, saying she was retaliated against for her complaints about the school’s violations of the Equal Pay Act of 1963 and Title IX, plus her efforts to close the pay gap between male and female coaches.
