Uber Investors Reach $200 Million Deal in Securities IPO Suit

A class of Uber Technologies Inc. investors are requesting preliminary approval of a $200 million settlement to end claims that the ride-hailing company misled them over its financial performance during its 2019 initial public offering.

The proposed settlement, filed July 19 in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, is the latest development in a long-running lawsuit alleging that the IPO’s offering documents included materially false and misleading statements.
