Tyson Foods Settles Employees’ Wage Price-Fixing Class Action

Tyson Foods Inc. has joined a number of poultry processors by electing to settle a class action wage price-fixing suit.

Tyson and Keystone Foods LLC reached an agreement with class plaintiffs to settle all claims for an undisclosed amount, according to a joint notice filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Maryland.

  • The workers allegedthat 20 poultry processors and several of their subsidiaries conspired to “fix and depress compensation” in a scheme to reduce labor costs, in violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act
