Tyson Foods Ex-Supervisor Brings Class, Collective Wage Claims

A former production supervisor is suing Tyson Foods Inc. for failing to pay him and other supervisors overtime wages, alleging violations of federal and state wage laws.

Tyson allegedly misclassified Cody Kidd and other similarly situated salaried production supervisors when it paid them on a salary basis, while they performed work associated with that of a non-exempt employee and worked more than 40 hours per week, according to Kidd’s complaint filed Tuesday with the US District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.
