Twitter Tries to Dispatch Workers’ Suit over Unpaid Bonuses

Twitter Inc. tried to convince a federal judge Thursday to dismiss current and former employees’ lawsuit claiming the social media company stiffed them their 2022 bonuses despite promises it wouldn’t do so.

US District Judge Vince Chhabria of the US District Court for the Northern District of California questioned assertions by Twitter—now known as X Corp.—that the bonus plan is discretionary as is the amount paid, and that the social media company could terminate any employee at any time.
