Twitter Gets Laid-Off Workers’ Contract Claims Moved to Delaware

Twitter Inc. workers let go when Elon Musk took over the company in 2022 will have to pursue their breach of contract claims in Delaware after a federal judge in California transferred their case.

Workers accuse the social media firm of breaking its severance package commitment in a complaint that also alleged violations of state and federal laws on the notice required for mass layoffs. The US District Court for the Northern District of California sent some of the latter claims to arbitration in January and electronically transferred the former to the District of Delaware on Thursday.
