President Donald Trump pardoned a former Democratic Cincinnati councilman found guilty of taking bribes in exchange for a vote.
The president issued the pardon for Alexander “P.G.” Sittenfeld on Wednesday in a batch of clemency approvals that included 16 other pardons and eight commuted sentences. Others who received pardons included former reality television stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, rapper NBA YoungBoy, ex-Connecticut Gov. John Rowland (R), and former Rep. Michael Grimm (R-NY).
