Trump Sued Over Order Suspending US Refugee Resettlement Program

President Donald Trump was hit with a lawsuit Monday challenging his executive order suspending refugee resettlement in the US.

A group of refugee resettlement organizations and individual refugee applicants filed the complaint in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington.

The plaintiffs, which also include family members of refugee applicants, are asking the Seattle federal court to block enforcement of the Jan. 20 order and reinstate the US Refugee Admissions Program.
