Trump Lawyer Lin Wood Must Pay $2 Million Bond to Georgia Court

President-elect Donald Trump’s lawyer L. Lin Wood must pay $2 million to a Georgia federal court registry to secure a bond after he was found liable for defaming his former law firm colleagues in connection with a fraud and breach of contract suit they brought against him.

Wood must pay that amount because he had “objectively demonstrated his financial inability” to post a full cash supersedeas bond for a $4.5 million defamation jury verdict issued against him in August, but could pay the lesser amount, said Judge Michael L.
