Trump Denied Request to Rescind California Researcher Grants

The Trump administration can’t move forward with its efforts to rescind multi-year grants to researchers in the University of California school system while the administration’s appeal plays out, a federal appeals court ruled Thursday.

A three-judge panel for the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit denied the administration’s request to pause a lower court’s injunction order while the merits of the case play out on appeal.
