Trump Campaign Co-Manager Sues The Daily Beast for Defamation

President Donald Trump’s ex-campaign co-manager estimates it could cost millions to fix his reputation after The Daily Beast published defamatory stories about him amid the 2024 presidential election, he alleged in a new lawsuit Monday.

Chris LaCivita said the publication knowingly and maliciously published stories claiming he earned $22 million while on the Trump campaign, he alleged in a complaint in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. LaCivita alleges The Daily Beast defamed him and conspired to injure him in his profession, in violation of Virginia law.
