The Trump administration can’t enforce an order imposing additional recordkeeping and reporting requirements to money services businesses in Southern California, a federal district judge ruled.
San Diego-based money service business Novedades Y Servicios Inc. is likely to prove that a recent border “Geographic Targeting Order” was unlawfully issued, said Judge Janis L. Sammartino of the US District Court for the Southern District of California in a Tuesday order that targets all covered businesses in that judicial district.
