The Trump administration’s moves to allegedly dismantle volunteer agency AmeriCorps on Tuesday became the next target of a coalition of state attorneys general.
Terminating $400 million in key grants and reducing the workforce by 85% effectively ends its ability to operate volunteer service programs, violating the Administrative Procedure Act and the separation of powers, according to a news release on behalf of a coalition of 23 attorneys general, Pennsylvania Gov.
