Trump Administration Settles Challenge to Library Agency Cuts

The Trump administration agreed not to implement any reductions in force and to continue all statutorily mandated research work at the Institute of Museum and Library Services, ending a lawsuit challenging its dismantling last year.

The parties filed a stipulation of dismissal Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Columbia after reaching a settlement agreement.
