Trump Administration Reinstates Philadelphia Art Museum’s Grant

The federal government agreed to reinstate a $750,000 grant to Woodmere Art Museum Inc. after it sued over termination of the award, the museum said.

Woodmere voluntarily dismissed its suit against the government in a Sept. 5 filing in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The Institute of Museum and Library Services notified Woodmere last week that it “completed the termination review process” and will be reinstating the museum’s grant, Woodmere communications director Amy Ferracci said in an email to Bloomberg Law.
