Trojan Battery Co. successfully showed that a golf cart manufacturer and distributor infringed its trademark when marketing their products, a federal court said.
Trojan Battery accused defendants Trojan EV LLC and Golf Carts of Cypress LLC of trademark infringement and unfair competition under both federal and Texas laws. The question for the court was whether there was a likelihood of confusion between the two marks.
