Trinity Health Corp. breached their duty to protect the personal information of 21,000 people that was exposed in a March data breach, a new proposed federal class action said.
Jennifer Medenblik alleged Trinity Health failed to implement adequate data-security practices, comply with industry data-security standards and those required under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or properly monitor its network for intrusions.
