TriNet 401(k) Fee Suit Covers Tens of Thousands, Investors Say

Retirement investors suing TriNet HR III Inc. over the fees and investment options in a pair of multiple employer retirement plans asked a Florida federal court to certify the case as a class action covering tens of thousands of people.

The investors seek a class consisting of all participants in or beneficiaries of the TriNet 401(k) Plan and the TriNet Selection 401(k) Plan since September 2014. The plans cover 94,000 people and 16,000 people, respectively, and hold a combined $4 billion in assets, according to a motion filed Monday in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida. ...
