Travis Scott, Future, SZA to Face ‘Telekinesis’ Copyright Claims

Rapper Travis Scott will have to face claims that his 2023 song “Telekinesis,” on which he collaborated with performers SZA and Future, infringed on a demo made by singer-songwriter Victory Boyd.

Manhattan federal judge Mary Kay Vyskocil partially rejected a motion to dismiss from Scott, his fellow performers, Sony Music Entertainment, and other record labels and publishers named in the suit.
