TransPerfect Global Inc.'s corporate owner sued a court-appointed custodian too late to recover damages for allegedly overpaying for the translation company at a forced sale, the Third Circuit affirmed Tuesday.
And the district court’s decision doesn’t have to be thrown out on the basis that the judge should have recused herself, the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit said. The appeals court’s own review of the case—without deference to the lower court—eliminated any problem, the panel said.
