Transgender Citibank Analyst Ends Sex Bias, Retaliation Suit

A transgender Citibank NA analyst who reached a confidential settlement with the company in her sex discrimination and retaliation suit has agreed to dismiss the case.

The agreed order of dismissal with prejudice was filed Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

Teeanna J. Polonczyk sued Citibank in 2021 alleging the company didn’t give her an annual raise after she complained about gender discrimination and harassment after she was “lectured on ‘how a woman should dress.’” She’d worn an almost knee-length dress to work and a supervisor allegedly criticized Polonczyk’s clothing, the complaint said.
