Trans Union Must Face Class Action Over Bankruptcy Notations

Trans Union LLC lost its bid to fend off class certification in a lawsuit alleging the credit reporting agency sold consumer reports with inaccurate bankruptcy notations.

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Wednesday granted William Norman Brooks III’s motion to certify his lawsuit against Trans Union as a class action.
