Training Website Customer Advances Suit Over Meta Info-Sharing

Regulatory-compliance training provider 360Training.com Inc. will face a proposed class action alleging it disclosed the video-viewing histories of customers to Meta Platforms Inc. in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act.

Lead plaintiff Karen Cochenour established that she had standing to sue in federal court and adequately pleaded the elements of a VPPA claim, Judge Robert Pitman of the US District Court for the Western District of Texas said Monday.

Pitman denied the company’s motion to dismiss.
