Total Quality Logistics LLC failed to meet its discovery obligations in a lawsuit from workers alleging TQL owes them overtime pay, a federal court said, ordering TQL to pay the workers’ attorneys fees.
TQL should have disclosed in its discovery materials that the Department of Labor was investigating whether it properly paid overtime to workers in Tampa, Florida, and Columbus, Ohio, the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said.
