Tom Girardi Posts $250,000 Appearance Bond in Criminal Case

Thomas Girardi, the disbarred California plaintiff’s lawyer who allegedly stole millions from his clients even as the state bar received dozens of complaints across four decades, has posted a $250,000 appearance bond, Chicago federal court records show.

The notice of bond posting, filed with the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on March 3 and entered on its electronic docket Monday, comes just after Girardi pleaded not guilty to wire fraud and criminal contempt charges.
