Embattled Ohio Doctor Owes US Nearly $700,000 in Unpaid Taxes

A Cleveland-area physician and conspiracy theorist who advocated against Covid-19 vaccines owes the US just short of $700,000 in tax liabilities, a district court ruled Tuesday.

There aren’t any genuine disputes of material fact over the US’ claims that Sherri J. Tenpenny is liable for unpaid income taxes in 2001, 2012, and 2013, Judge J. Philip Calabrese said. The US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio granted summary judgment in favor of the federal government.
