A tiger sanctuary in Texas failed to convince a federal judge to toss a lawsuit against it brought by the Animal Legal Defense Fund over alleged violations of the Endangered Species Act.
ALDF sued the National Foundation for Rescued Animals, which does business as Tiger Creek Sanctuary, in the US District Court in the Eastern District of Texas. It alleged that the 173-acre wildlife preserve contributed to the deaths and injuries of “at least nine big cats” through substandard care.
