TIAA Sued Over MOVEit Data Breach of 2.4 Million Consumers (1)

Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America was hit by a class action alleging it failed to protect the personal information of nearly 2.4 million people that was exposed in a May data breach involving Progress Software’s MOVEit file-transfer application.

The cyberattack on the MOVEit application, allegedly carried out by the Clop criminal hacking group, has resulted in the theft of data from dozens of organizations and government agencies in the US and Europe.
