Texas’ fight to wall off children from the ugly side of social media while tip-toeing around the First Amendment heads to the Fifth Circuit this week.

On Monday, the state will argue to a three-judge panel that a lower court wrongly ruled in favor of a number of groups, including a trade association representing Meta, Apple, and Google, in finding that the law likely chills protected speech.
