The former CEO of renewable energy startup EthosGen failed on appeal to vacate more than a dozen convictions in connection with his scheme to defraud investors.
The record could support a finding that James Abrams “acted with intent to defraud, as shown by his repeated misrepresentations and his handling of investor funds,” the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit said in a Friday opinion.
