A popular airport parking service provider is suing another company for allegedly using its trademarks and trade dress to mislead consumers.
TPS Parking Management LLC alleges On Spot Parking LLC and two individuals it believes control the company—Mohsin Cheema and Sadia Cheema—are intentionally infringing TPS’ “TheParkingSpot” and “TheSpotClub” marks along with its black-and-yellow trade dress to benefit from TPS’ established goodwill.
TPS—which does business as The Parking Spot—has used the marks for more than two decades and operates 47 locations at 28 airports across the country, including in major cities like Los Angeles and New York, according to the complaint ...
