Texas Schools Move to End Ten Commandments Display Lawsuit

Nine Texas school districts say they can’t be sued over a new law requiring public school classrooms to display the Ten Commandments because it’s unclear if or when they’ll unveil the exhibits.

A lawsuit church leaders and parents brought early this month is premature and should be dismissed before the academic year begins in August or before the law takes effect on Sept. 1, the districts said in a motion to dismiss.
