Texas Rules Banning Smokable Cannabis Blocked Temporarily (1)

Texas’ new hemp rules banning smokable cannabis are temporarily blocked, a state judge ruled Friday.

Judge Maya Guerra Gamble of the 459th district court halted the rules reinterpreting a 0.3% THC cap to include naturally occurring cannabinoid acids when measuring delta-9.

Guerra Gamble of Travis County granted the temporary restraining order during a virtual hearing. Her decision, which came without explanation, comes two weeks after the new rules took effect March 31.
