Texas can continue to sanction pro se litigants for routinely filing harassing and repetitive lawsuits, a federal appeals court said Monday, affirming a trial court’s ruling that six plaintiffs who’ve been penalized under the law lack standing to challenge it.
The pro se litigants lack standing to challenge actions of a judge and other court officials who administer the state’s vexatious litigant statute, a panel on the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit said.
