A Texas grand jury returned an indictment against six people, including five current or former public officials, as part of a criminal investigation into a scheme to collect and submit absentee or mail-in voter ballots, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) announced Wednesday.
Those indicted include Frio County Judge Rochelle Camacho (D), the county’s top executive, and its former election administrator, Carlos Segura.
