Texas says the Biden administration is flouting a court’s ruling by enforcing a regulation requiring certain health service entities to give contraceptives to minors without parental consent, in opposition to state law.
Texas in a lawsuit filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas argued the Supreme Court’s recent landmark decision in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, which on June 28 rolled back the power of federal agencies to interpret vague rules, leaves the parental non-consent rule vulnerable.
