The head of Texas’ top business development advocacy organization, Glenn Hamer, is accused of civil assault by the founder of another pro-business group in Texas, who says he sabotaged her fundraising prospects after she refused his sexual advances.
Hamer also took the woman’s ideas and business plans and passed them off as his own, a state court lawsuit filed Monday said. He implemented them instead through his group, Texas Association of Business, or another organization, and cut her group, Texas Venture Alliance, out entirely, the woman alleged.
