Texas A&M University Texarkana and a White former university official have settled reverse discrimination claims alleging he was forced to resign for deciding not to punish a student who used a negative racial epithet after consulting with the university’s general counsel.
Carl Greig and Texas A&M participated in a mediation conference June 23 and settled the case after further negotiation, according to a mediator’s report filed July 11 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
