Tesla Reaches Settlement With Employee Alleging Race Bias

Tesla Inc. and a Black former contractor who accused the company of racial discrimination filed a joint stipulation on Friday for the case to be dismissed, marking the end of a long-running legal dispute that tested the limits of how high a court will allow damages to go in a race bias suit.

The parties told the US District Court for the Northern District of California they had “executed a final, binding settlement agreement that fully resolves all claims” and sought dismissal with prejudice.
