Tesla Owner Drops Battery-Life Suit That Had to Be Arbitrated

Tesla Inc. and a used-car owner have agreed to dismiss claims that it overstated the battery life of some pre-owned electric vehicles, more than a year after an appeal failed to save the case from arbitration, according to a federal court filing in California

Attorneys for Tesla and for consumer Hugh Nguyen didn’t respond to requests for comment. It’s not clear from the document, filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California, whether the dismissal request follows an arbitration result or a settlement, or is unrelated to either.
