Telecom Companies Hit With Patent Infringement Suits Over 5G

Several communications giants have been hit with patent lawsuits over a wireless network patent owned by Telsync Technologies LLC.

ZTE Corp., Samsung Electronics Co., and Ericsson Inc. are accused of infringing the 8,897,263 patent that claims “interactions among mobile devices in a wireless network” through making “5G” products, according to complaints filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. T-Mobile USA was hit with an almost identical complaint in the Western District of Texas.
