Telecommunication company Allstate Sales Group Inc., and two executives were hit with a proposed class action for their alleged failure to provide advance notice ahead of a mass layoff at a New Jersey facility in violation of state and federal laws.
Joseph Horling, on behalf of himself and others, sued Allstate Sales, its CEO Anthony Tepedino and COO Patryk Mielnicki, alleging they failed to provide advance written notice of terminations to him and nearly 500 other employees under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act and the New Jersey Millville Dallas Airmotive Plant Job Loss Notification Act.
