Tech trade groups sued to block Florida’s attorney general from enforcing a new state law that requires social media platforms to terminate the accounts of users 14 and under.

The Computer & Communications Industry Association and NetChoice argue that the law violates the First Amendment by restricting minors and adults alike by mandating users prove their age to gain access to content online, according to a complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Florida on Monday.
