A Tennessee school board and a teacher dissolved a lawsuit claiming she was fired for objecting to the board’s repeated use of her transgender son’s “dead name.”
The case was dismissed with prejudice Monday following the parties’ decision to end the case on Dec. 4, the US District Court for the Western District of Tennessee said in its order and judgment. The Arlington Community Schools Board of Education was sued by Cynthia Wieland for retaliation under Title IX.
