Target Workers Must Pursue Class Action Claims in Federal Court

Two Target Corp. warehouse workers’ proposed class action will stay in federal court since the amount in controversy exceeds the Class Action Fairness Act’s $5 million jurisdictional minimum.

The workers’ motion to remand the case to state court was denied Wednesday by Judge Jesus G. Bernal, of the US District Court for the Central District of California.
