Target Avoids PFAS Class Action Suit Over Mislabeled Bandages

A proposed class of consumers suing Target on Monday voluntarily withdrew its lawsuit alleging the chain deceptively marketed some of its bandages as “sterile” while containing harmful per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances.

The May lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice Tuesday by Judge Paul G. Byron in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida, according to the order.
